Hello, everyone.
How are you doing this weekend?
This is Rumi from the Shibuya Business Garden.
If you were in Japan in this particular season, you might have noticed that
there are chocolate everywhere.
It's just a little chocolate heaven in the basement of department stores called " Depachika", with all beautifully rapped high-brand chocolate gifts.
I know you gentlemen would find it nice, as Japanese Valentin Day is the day when women give chocolate to men contrary to the western country's custom.
We women give Valentine gift to men, mainly out of love, friendship and of course sometimes out of duty..... If you work for a Japaneses company, I bet you would get at least one box of chocolate from a female coworker. You have to be smart enough to tell what is the hidden message behind the gift though. I will give you a clue, if the chocolate looks small and cheap, it is most likely just nice gesture but if the gift looks gorgeous, it might contain deeper meaning than that;)
Japanese Valentin might be a heaven for men. Please remember, however, if you get some gifts on the Valentin Day, you are bound to give some gifts back to those women who have given you chocolate on March 14th called the White Day.
Hope you have a great Sunday.
