It rained this week!
I thought that was good rain cuz too dry this winter.
Anyway, do you know what day it is today?
February 11th is the National Foundation Day.
"According to the Japanese historical legend, on this day in the year 660 BC,
Emperor Jinmu, the first Emperor of Japan, built his capital in the Yamato
district, Nara Prefecture now.
It was celebrated as Kigensetsu, the day of origin, only until the end of World War Ⅱ,
and was discontinued after the war because there's no real historical basis for it.
But it was designated a national holiday in 1967"
We have thousands of history, so the National Foundation Day is based on legend:o
It remind us Japanese culture and tradition today.
