Did you have a good weekend?
I had a big lunch with my family on last Sunday
we celebrated Shichi-Go-San for my cousin's daughter
who became 3 years old.
Shichi-Go-San literally means seven five three.
When children reach these age, we celebrate their growth and pray for their future well-being.
On Shichi-Go-San, children are beautifully dressed in traditional kimono and taken to a shrine
She also got dressed up traditional Japanese kimono.
To my surprise, This kimono was mine.
I wore it when I was 3 years old!! lol
My grandmum has kept my kimono close to home since I was 3 years old...long time...
Shichi-Go-San and Kimono, I experienced traditional Japanese culture that day.
