Books to read for the end of 2015, the winter holidays!

Hi, everyone!

It is already the end of 2015!
What's your plan for the coming holidays?

We are usually take winter vacation from the end of December through the beginning of January in Japan.

I like to read books during my vacation in my parent's house because their bath room has been nicely and fully renewed with air condition so that I could read books for hours in a bath tab:P

I got some more books at the book shop "Hyakunen."
They have new books as well as second hand books.

OLD / NEW SELECT BOOK SHOP Hyakunen.

They open till 23:00 so that I can visit there after work:)

Compare to the other second hand book stores, they have more English and other foreign books
such as novels, photographs and Children's picture books!

Here are some of the books and manga I got.

"From left to right" is a unique book because it is written both in English & Japanese by the author of Minae Mizumura who was born in Japan and grew up in the US.

Japanese books are written from right to left but her book is written left to right.
I wonder how it is to read like that.

The title of this book is funny.  It is "Gyoko no Nikuko chan."
In Japanese, it would be..... Ms. meat of fishing port. ( I am not sure.)

This book was reviewed and highly rated by Naoki Matayoshi, a Japanese comedian and a novelist who won the the Akutagawa Prize this year.

Can't wait to read them!

That is all for today.

We are open till 17:00 today.
Thank you very much for using Shibuya Business Garden this year!

Have a nice holidays & a happy new year!!!

We will be open on January 4th at 9 am!
