One of Japanese traditional kimono style 'Hakama'

Hello, everyone!
My niece  attended a graduation ceremony of junior high school wearing a traditional kimono 'Hakama'.

Actually, she could not wear 'Hakama' by herself,

I dressed her in 'Hakama'.

Hakama  were worn by University and College women
at graduation ceremonies about 20 years ago,
but recently they were worn by junior high
and high school students also at graduation ceremonies.

Originally they were worn by only men, for example, in Edo period men wear stripe hakama as a formal wear.

She liked to wear  'Hakama' so much,
She was planning to change the dress for a graduation party,
but she didn't.

Her mother, she is my younger sister, got mad at her,
because she bought her dress also for the party.
