Home made anime character cookies

Hi, this is Shibuya Business Garden.

How is everyone?

As you know Japanese subculture is popular among foreign young people,
animation attracts them to have interest in Japan.

These cookies shown below are the anime print cookies I made.
I used to bake cookies and cakes often and tried this kind of cokies for the first time.

<Nyaruko-san on the upper left>
<Sinbad on the upper right>
<Iwan on the bottom left>
<Barnaby Brooks Jr. on the bottom right>

You need to prepare a print out of a character you want to make.
I took pictures from the web and printed them out.

Then, trace along the lines of the picture on the paper using a toothpick with melt chocolate.

Prepare cookie dough and put it in the refrigerator to rest for an hour.
Then, take the cookie dough out of the refrigerator and put the character paper on the dough.

Finally, the cookie dough is ready to be baked in the oven.

You need to be patient because it takes 3 hours or more to finish making this kind of cookies.
But it is fun!
