Kamo nabe

Hi this from Shibuya Business Garden.

It's about Nabe, Japanese traditional pot dish.
There are many kinds of nabe such as miso, shio, chanko etc.

I had one called kamo nabe which is a dish of duck meat cooked with cabbage, s
pring onions, tofu, and so on.

The lump of red in the picture is grated Japanese white radish with red peppr.
The lump of yellow is grated ginger, and these are known as yakumi.

For dessert, I had mitarashi dango, which is made from rice flower, and
covered with a sweet soy sauce glaze.

As the weather gets warmer, this may be the last time for this winter to have nabe.
