I spent my new year holiday in Shimonoseki.
Do you know Shimonoseki?

It's famous for puffer fish.
You may find TV news saying "the first puffer fish auction has started at Karato market!"
Yes, this is that place.

This is the biggest puffer fish statue in the world.

Wooden plaques (Ema)

Very near from this temple, there is a memorial place where Ryoma Sakamaoto and his wife Oryo had spent their honeymoon.
