Today is the beginning of March.
Time fries away so fast.
By the way, do no know "Taiyaki?"
Tai means "red snapper" and yaki means "grill" in English, but taikyaki is not a dish that you imagine from what they mean.
Taiyaki is a fish shaped pancake filled with sweet red bean paste.
There is no fishy stuff in it.
It is baked like a waffle with Japanese traditional iron plates.
Iron plates look like these.
You see that fish shapes are carved on the plates.
Pour the taiyaki mix onto the plate and put sweet red bean paste.
Then put the 2 plates together to finish baking.

What a cute fish shaped taiyaki!
Freshly baked taiyaki is very hot.
Here are the taiyaki I had for the past weekend.
Yes, I know I had too many!
Entry NO.1 <Sora's taiyaki>
You can have a taiyaki and a cup of drink inside of the store.
Maccha tastes good with taiyaki I think.
Entry NO.2 <Amane's taiyaki>
This one is very popular and there is always a waiting line.
They sometimes have limited flavors but they are all gone by the noon especially on weekends.
The black sesame flavor was sold out so I got a nomal red bean paste.
Sweet red bean paste inside!
Entry NO.3 <Yoshikawa's taiyaki>
This one is unique because it opens only on Saturdays in a backyard of a lumber dealer.
The waffle is crispy and the filling is not too sweet.
Watch out!
The filling is really hot and almost like liquid.
That's all for today & thanks for reading!
