Hi, everyone!
It is already the beginning February.
I went to Jimbocho, where is probably the largest area that you can find second hand book stores in Tokyo.
For those who likes to read books, you can forget how long you have been searching books there.
This store is specialized in art books, photography, and fashion magazines.
Can you see the eye catching figure of Astro Boy on the second floor?
This select shop has really nostalgic atmosphere.
Judging from the sign of the store, it was used to be a clothing store.
There were textiles for men inside of the store as a display.
Second hand books and old pairs of tableware are sold in front of the store.
Here is one of the most famous second hand book store, Kanda furusho center.
There is a very tasty curry restaurant called Bondy is located on the 2nd floor of this building!
I found these Kohmote face mask used in Noh, the oldest of Japan's theatrical arts.
These face masks look kind of scary especially if you see them at night.
It has gotten so dark while I was going from shop to shop.
This is the book store I spent 2 hours reading books with hot coffee!
You can get a cup of drink if you buy a book for 500 yen or more at the cafe space on the 2nd floor! (Or you can simply buy a cup of drink for 150 yen.)

I am still in the middle of searching and taking a walk in this area.
There are good curry restaurants, nostalgic coffee shops as well as book stores.
Books to read, curry and beef for tasting, and a cup of coffee for relaxing!
There is always a new discovery.
Have a nice week!
