Hi, everyone!
In addition to my previous blog about a trip to Taketomi, here are the animals I met in the island.
A water buffalo carriage for tourists.
You can ride this carriage together with other tourists and a buffalo takes you around the village.
Surprisingly, water buffaloes are wise enough to take tourists along with the usual course without instructions.
Water buffaloes are resting for their next rides.
Each of them has an unique characteristic just like a human being.
Some of them are really lazy, some of them are hard worker, and some of them are just in between, the instructor of the buffalo carriage said.
Move on to the next animals who are more familiar to us than the buffaloes.
Beach cats relaxing on the table.
They are friendly to anybody who feeds them food.
Can you tell where the black and white cat is at a glance in the picture below??
This black cat on the beach was protecting my bags from the annoying crows while I was swimming.
Good job buddy! ....but sorry I didn't not have any snacks for him.
There was no vending machine like you see everywhere in the city.
I felt bad about not giving him treats and wonder if he got any from other people.
A white goat at the entrance of the village.
She was right next to a pedestrian walk which is something that you wouldn't usually see in the city. Very relaxing!
This is a mysterious white bird which has long neck chasing a snake to eat it.
Yuck!! Snake!!
I couldn't get any closer because the bird will fly away.
Sleeping comfortably on the white sand is Reira, a German shepherd mix and works with staffs of Naminma, the horse back riding place.
What is she dreaming of?
She looks so relaxed and peaceful.
Thank you for reading!
Have a nice week!
