Readiness for a new year 'shimenawa'

Hello,　a new year will come soon.
You can see many  'shimenawa' of the entrance of the building in Yotsuya area. 'Shimenawa' means "enclosing rope".

In Japan, it is one of readiness for a new year, which comes from Shinto.

I think in Yotsuya it is more popular than the other area.
When I see 'shimenawa',  I feel something holy，cool and crisp.
