Okonomiyaki

Hi, everyone!

Thank you for visiting Business Garden's blog.

Introducing Okonomiyaki today.
Okonomiyaki is like a Jpanaese pizza and usually eat it on the hot plate.

It’s made from dough and mixture of flour & water.
Its popular ingredients are cabbage, pork, eggs and many others.

Okonomi means whatever you like in Japanese.
You can use any ingredient you like as a topping.

One on the left is a mixture of yakisoba noodle and okonomiyaki.

The one on the right used scrambled egg as a topping.

Usually you eat them not from the plate but from the hot iron plate, so that the hotness lasts a lot longer than the plate!

You might want to try them when you visit Japan.

Hi there,this is Shinjuku Business Garden.

I've never been to Napoli(Italy) but I had good Napoli food last time.
In Italy,Each town has each traditional food.
This is interesting thing to travel in Italy.

This is the first dish:
Sword fish and tomato pasta.

They use a lot of fish,tomato,olive in Napoli.
This dish was wonderful.

Second dish(Main)
Deep flied sardine.

Dessert
sweet bread soaked in the Rum
grand mother's cake

These are Italian usual course(set meal) for 1 person.
That time we shared all dishes.

I would like to go back soon!

This is real Napoli style pizza,it's square shape and really big.

You can see how big it is,the width is as same as table.
It called 1 square meter pizza.

Spicy Knife-cut noodles in Shinjuku

It's been ridiculously hot & humid here in Tokyo.

Feel like you are in a sauna sweating.

When it is hot, we tend to eat and drink something cold, though it is said that we should eat something hot in the summer.


This Chinese noodle is spicy enough to sweat a lot, too.
If you want to make it more hot and spicy, you can order by the level of spiciness.


The thin flat shape noodle is known as "Knife-cut noodles."

The restaurant is on the other side of the street of Shinjuku Business Garden.

It worth trying in one of these summer day!

Hi there,this is Shinjuku business garden.

I went to Firenze for the first time this year.

We were tired to walk with heat,there was crowded gelateria.

Around 40 kinds of gelato,how can I make up my mind?!

I choose 3 gelato,the best gelato ever!

Do you usually have breakfast?
In Italy,they have breakfast like this.

We've stayed mainly B&B(Bed & Brekfast),
They usually served a cup of coffee and cake or biscuit.
(Only sweet stuff)

If you stay in a hotel at touristic place
sometimes they have International breakfast.

I've never had so much good breakfast before.
I would like to go back even just have breakfast.

I think maybe Italian people have huge dinner that's why
they don't eat (or can't eat)much for breakfast.

Bara-chirashi is a type of sushi, assortment of different kind of raw fish on a bowl of rice.

Sushi restaurant named "Tsuji" and it is 3 minutes walk from Shimbashi Business Garden.
