These crabs are called "Heike Gani" (also called Samurai Crab).
Their shells bear a pattern resembling a human face which is believed to be the face of an angry samurai.
It is locally said that these crabs are reincarnations of the Heike warriors defeated at the Battle of Dan-no-uraas told in The Tale of the Heike.
It was nice spend time here!
See you on next Wednesday.
