It's been ridiculously hot & humid here in Tokyo.

Feel like you are in a sauna sweating.

When it is hot, we tend to eat and drink something cold, though it is said that we should eat something hot in the summer.


This Chinese noodle is spicy enough to sweat a lot, too.
If you want to make it more hot and spicy, you can order by the level of spiciness.


The thin flat shape noodle is known as "Knife-cut noodles."

The restaurant is on the other side of the street of Shinjuku Business Garden.

Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro & Sakura Cafe!

Visiting Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro last week.

It's location is just 6 minutes walk from Ikebukuro train station.

As their guests are mostly from abroad, Sakura Hotel staffs speak not only English but also Spanish and Chinese!

Isn't it great that you can communicate in your language?

See the messages from guests all over the world on the welcome board at the entrance!
Free to write messages on the sakura shaped memo.

There is a public phone for the visitors and it can be used for both international and domestic calls.  You can buy prepaid calling card, too.

As smart phone users increase, most of these public phones are disappeared from streets, train stations, and other public areas.

When it gets dark outside, people gather at the sidewalk cafe.


Sakura cafe is open for 24 hours and what is great is that the sidewalk cafe space is also air-conditioned.


You can comfortably stay there to enjoy your time for 24 hours a day.

One portion is pretty big as you can see!

This is a side dish of Tohoku Bokujyo's organic vegetables.

If we go to cafe,we spend easy 1 hour or so with 1 cup of coffee.

In Italy,they are standing while drink a coffee.

It takes less than 3 minute I guess.

Do you like Japanese toilet?

In Italy,it is not automatic but they have got same thing.

Amano-Hashidate

Hi, everyone!

Thank you for visiting Business Garden's Blog！


Amano-Hashidate is one of the three most beautiful views in Japan along with Miyajima and Matsushima.

Taking ropeway to "View Land," there is a platform called " Mata-nozoki" where you can enjoy the beautiful Amano-Hashidate view in a unique way.

Get on the platform and turn your back to Amano-Hashidate.
Then bend your body down and look from between your legs.

From between your legs, the sky and the earth look up side down, which means Amano-Hashidate looks like a bridge to the sky.


You can rent a bicycle and ride to the opposite side of Amano-Hashidate.
It takes only 20 minutes.

The both sides of Amano-Hashidate are sea shore!

Once you can get to the opposite side of Amano-Hashidate, you can leave a rental bicycle at the pier and take a small ferry back to where you came.


You can buy a round ticket at the rental bicycle shop:)

Got to keep in mind that this area gets really hot and humid in the middle of summer, and there are not tall buildings that protect you from the heat.

Recommended season to visit here is April or Fall unless you want to go there for swim in summer.
