Have you ever been to the fish market in Japan?
This is Karato Fish Market in Yamaguchi prefecture.
It is famous for the largest catch of puffer fish in Japan.
My family and I arrived at the market at 5 o'clock in the early morning.
It's so exciting to walk around!
You'll find a variety of fish here.
Puffer fish sasimi for a special price!
Fishermen and their wives eat breakfast here.
(Check the huge puffer fish statue behind!)
My favourite fish shop and she uses really really old Japanese abacus (calculator).
Even my parents were surprised by it.
I LOVE her "Mirin-zuke" (fish pickled in sweet rice wine).
There is a popular fish market called "Tsukiji" in Tokyo, too.
See you on next Thursday.
