Hello everyone! This is Takashima from Business Garden.
The rainy season has begun for the Kanto area last week and is expected to last longer this year. I was planning to take a short trip to Yamanashi on last weekend with my friends, but we had to change our plan to Gunma because all the highways to our destination were closed because of rain.
Sad but fortunately, we immediately made an alternative plan (yes, we were already heading to Yamanashi in our car... !) in Gunma, and it turned out to be a perfect trip on a rainy Saturday!
We first stopped by at a Soba restaurant since Gunma is as famous as Yamanashi for Soba noodles.
I had a cold Soba noodle with their special pickled plum dipping sauce.
Look at this! It looks good, isn't it.
After lunch, we went to a glass workshop called
Haruna Glass where we could try making glass crafts.
It was my first time trying glass blowing, but oh my goodness, it was so much fun that I could stay there for a couple more hours or even until the end of the day!
I made a vase with blowing and am so excited to see it finished in 2 weeks... !
After the workshop, we still had about an hour to kill before going back to Tokyo, so we decided to drop by at a nearest winery called
Shintou winery.
Unfortunately, the winery itself was not operating during this season, but they gave us a free quick tour with a tasting service which we enjoyed pretty much : 9
I will post some pictures of the vase I made when it's finished for sure : )
Have a great week!
We also have vacancy in a
serviced office at the moment.
