One of our clients in Yotsuya Business Garden gave us unique food gifts from Korea.

He had a business trip to Korea and brought us gifts not only for Yotsuya staff but also for us!

Seaweed chips and chocolate cake with rice cake inside.


I like the guy who is pounding steamed rice to make rice cake on the package!

Easy to imagine how to make rice cake traditionally in korea by looking at this guy.

Sumo wrestler shaped bun with sweet red bean filling

Hi, everyone!


This is Yotsuya Annex.


Do you know Japanese sumo wrestler?

Sumo wrestling is Japanese traditional sports.

The wrestlers only wear a loincloth and look nearly naked.
Their average weight is about 150 kg!! Huge!

They fight each other without using any weapons.



Just like the package of this.

This buns are called Rikishi manju.

Rikishi means somo wrestler.
Manju means a bun with sweet red bean filling.

It looks like a very small sumo wrestler.

So cute!
