It's a show of changing Chinese masks!

I went to the "Shouryu Saikan" in Yotsuya the other day.

They hold a show when you reserve a course meal with more than five people.

It's about 15minutes.

Masks change faster than you blink.

The structure of how it changes is said to be the state secret.

little sweet treat

Hi, how are you?

Finally the long winter ends and the spring has come!
And the spring brings hay fever at the same time.....

Does anyone suffer from hay fever?
I do....

I would like to introduce you little sweet treat that
one of our customer brought us on the other day.

They are called "eel pie" and "nagoya jyo."
Oh, eel pie is different from the famous one in England, and
nagoya jyo is not nagoya castle. hahaha

Eel pie is well known for Shizuoka's local product.
The funny sub name of eel pie is "a snack of nights."

I heard that the founder of this product wished these pies to be eaten by
happy family circle and enjoying their conversation at night.
That is how this product was named after.

The Yoshida Family

This is Maiko Yamada from Shimbashi Business Garden.


I have been to "Former Yoshida Residence".
This is famous important cultural properties and located in Kashiwa city, Chiba.
I have been living in Kashiwa, however, I've never visited here.

Ｔhｅ Yoshida family served for Japan's feudal government by finance, buying and selling of grain etc..
There are 8 buildings and we can look some of them.
One of them were shot by TV which title was JIN.

I enjoyed very much with Cherry blossoms.

Cherry blossom in Kichijoji

Hi, This is Yuki from Business Garden Yotsuya Annex.

It's getting warm in Tokyo!

We can see "SAKURA (Cherry blossom)" anywhere now.

I went to the park called INOKASHIA KOEN in Kichijoji last week.

Spring in Inokashira Park is the season of the blooming cherry trees that line the pond.

The park is bustling with crowds who arrive to take in the lively environment on weekends and holidays, especially during the cherry blossom season when the entire park overrun with visitor for HANAMI.


Also if you walk in Kichijoji town, you can find many variety/novelty goods shops, cafe and restaurants.

If you haven't been there, you should visit one day!

Kawara soba Dining

Hi,

This is Ryoko from Yotsuya Business Garden.


Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo are going to be in full bloom tomorrow!

There are so many places to enjoy them. 
Especially I recommend Shinjyuku-Gyoen, a national garden with a huge park area.

People love to eat and drink alcohol under the cherry blossoms.
It is one of the exciting events in Japan.

By the way, I went to a cafe/restaurant Kawara Dining in Shibuya.

They serve "Kwara soba" (Green tea noodles fried on the heated kawara plates).

This is a local specialty of Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
I was born in shimonoseki so I used to eat it as dinner.

Do you know what "kawara" is?

It's a part of the Japanese traditional roof!!

I don't know the origin of using kawara as a tool to eat noodles.

If you are interested in Kawara soba, there are some restaurants in Tokyo.
