This is "Toranomon Hills" which opened in 2014.

And this is when Prince William visited Japan.

The top of the building is lightened like as the Union Jack!

This is a futsal coat that is famous for filming the TV drama.

Free Cone Day of Ben & Jerry's

Hi, this is Shibuya Business Garden.

How is everyone?

It rains a lot and temperature doesn't go up like average year though
Free Cone Day of Ben & Jerry's was held on 4/14 at 4 shop locations in Tokyo area.

It is a day that you can get a free cup or cone of ice cream of  your choice!!

They started this service since 1979 to celebrate and to thank customers for the support.

Which flavor would you like?  Give yourself a sweet treat!
I definitely go for Cherry Garcia!

But nooo......by the time I got there, there was a long long long waiting line even in the heavy rain.

I would rather pay for a cone!!

I gave up this time, but may give it a try next year :-)

Vagrancy coffee shop in Komagome

Hello everyone! This is Takashima from Business Garden.

Have you ever been to all the stations on the JR Yamanote line? I have been to about the half of the stations from Tokyo station to Ikebukuro, and I'd like to explore the rest of them this year.

So last weekend, I took the Yamanote line bound for Shinjuku from Gotanda station to Komagome station, which is one of the stations on the Yamanote line that I'd never been to, and had lunch and took a long walk with my friend living in Komagome.

Komagome is a cozy town with a relatively small shopping street called Shimofuri shopping street and is also famous for cherry blossoms.

After having lunch at an Italian restaurant near the station, we happened to find a vagrancy coffee shop on Shimofuri shopping street : )

They had a sour taste bean which was exactly my favorite taste ; 9 It was such a nice spring Sunday afternoon exploring a new town with holding a cup of coffee : )

Wearing Kimono at entrance ceremony in spring

Hello, everyone.
In Japan, entrance ceremony season is the beginning of April.
At ceremonies, some mothers of new students wear formal kimono.
About 50 years ago, a　lot of mothers wore formal kimono and Haori,
but the habit was changed.

My niece and nephew， and their mother, my sister， attended an entrance ceremony of high school and junior high school.

She wore a formal kimono, called ‘Houmongi’
It was green color, which suited well to spring season.
The one of characteristics of Houmongi is a series of beautiful pattern of the bottom in spite of seam.

This skills for sewing kimono, and beautiful trees pattern are amazing!
Please enjoy seeing the women wearing kimono in spring season.

Roppongi ark hills

Hello, how are you?

It has already finished sakura season and changed to fresh green leaves.
We posted some sakura topics on this blog, we hope you enjoyed something spring in Japan.

But!!! I couldn't go sakura viewing this year....becouse of strained my back from end of march. X(
I really really wanted to go cherry viewing so I changed the place to see sakura.
The place was not cold and I didn't need to walk for viewing!

Beautiful, isn't it?
I had a backache so just drive past under the tree.
Flowers had almost end and some leaves appears, but still breathtaking scenery.

I like sakura viewing at Ichigaya, Chidoriga-fuchi and Yasukuni but I like Roppongi too!
Where am I going to see sakura next year?

Ohanami at Ueno

Hi,this is Sakura from Shinjuku Business Garden.

I went to Ueno station for ohanami with my friends last weekend.

An artificial cherry tree and a panda stuffed animal were decorated at the station.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

It's a pity the weather was not good, but the cherry trees were in full bloom!

It's so beautiful.

This tree doesn't look a cherry bｌossom, maybe it's a peach bｌossom?

I liked this vivid pink. 

We bought a dango there. Sakura flavor was good!
I like the flowers,but “dumplings rather than flowers”after all；P

There is a popular restaurant "Oreno-Italian" near the Shimbashi Business Garden.
They renewed and opened recently.
I fortunately get seats reservation (standard entry is a stand-up meal) and went there!

They serve high-quality Italian dishes with reasonable prices.

This one was really yummy!

I also recommend you other group restaurants of oreno-Italian.
