Japanese traditional sweets "Rakugan"

Hello, This is Yuki From Shinjuku Business Garden.
It's been a while since I last wrote the blog here.
I took the maternity leave from 2013 to 2014 and came back to Business Garden a year ago!
Keep working while raising child is harder than I thought.
But I enjoy both being a mother and a full time worker.

I would like to introduce some exiting discoveries about Japan on this blog!

Well, today's story is.... about RAKUGAN, the Japanese traditional sweets.
Rakugan is a dry sweets made of rice starch and sugar.
Rakugan is a standard sweets for procedure for making tea.
It is also offered to the altar at the funeral.
From here onwards, Rakugan is one of the expensive Japanese sweets.

They have various kinds of shapes. The one I got the other day was.....the shapes of masks!

Well..my two year old son was so scared when he opened the box and see these masks, ha!
