Imari porcelain

Hello everyone. How are you?
This is Rumi from the Shibuya Business Garden.

How was your weekend?
It constantly rained and was super humid.
Well, that how Japanese rainy season suppose to be.

Last weekend, I got a nice beer glasses from a friend of mine!
Look, isn't it pretty?

It's not technically a glass but  the Imari porcelain!!
Imari porcelain are famous porcelain wares made in Saga prefecture in Kyushu.
The production of the Imari Porcelain started in the 17th century with the introduction of
advanced Chinese and Korean pottery techniques.

In Japan, many regions take pride in their unique porcelain wares.
Some stuff cost you a fortune, but still there are many stuff you can get within
your budged.

If you have a chance, try to get a couple of pieces!!

Hope you have a happy week.
Rumi
