Japanese Food : Yuzukosho

Hello, this is Tomoko @Shinjuku Business Garden.

How's your weekend?
I went home Fukuoka this weekend.
Fukuoka is located on the island of Kyushu.
There're a lot of delicious food in Kyushu island,
so I'd like to introduce my favorite condiment today.

Do you know what this is?
It's beautiful green isn't it?

This is Yuzukosho made in Nagasaki prefecture.
Yuzukosho is a spicy Japanese seasoning made from yuzu peel, salt and chili.
It is usually used as a condiment for nabe (Japanese one-pot dishes),noodles, sashimi and so on.
Whenever I eat nabe,I always have yuzukosho with it.

Yuzukosho is a speciality of the Kyushu island, but we can eat it in Tokyo nowadays.
If you find yuzukosho at a restaurant, please have a try it.
